Training Policies

Our training programs support helping professionals to serve at their best and flourish in their vocations. Taught by highly qualified national experts, they focus on topics that are locally relevant and evidence-based. All qualify for continuing education credits (see below) — and, inasmuch as possible, lead to opportunities for advanced training and certification.

All training programs are provided for a limited number of participants on-site in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Most are provided simultaneously on-line for participants in other cities across the nation and overseas. And where possible and for a limited duration, edited versions of training programs are available for self-paced, on-demand, learning.

Non Descrimination

Grassroots Development does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, military status, or any other characteristic protected by law, in any of its activities or operations. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our employees, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and customers.

Drug & Alcohol Free

The use of un-prescribed drugs or alcoholic beverages during any Grassroots Development training program is not allowed and may result in a participant’s removal from the program and/or withholding of his or her certificate of attendance.
